Here are some photo's that will give an impression of the scenery in Kyrgyzstan. It's a beautiful country with a wide variety of landscapes; but practically always dominated with high mountains. I visited only the area around Issyk-Kul, a large lake in the north-eastern part of the country. Ecotour, the touring company that organised the trip, lodges people in Yurt camps in various parts around the lake, to give travellers an impression of the landscapes and the traditional way of nomadic sheperding life.
