More photo's of Horton Plains

Here's an image of the trees that can be encountered in HOrton Plains park. It's highland, so the trees are stunted. But it gives a beautiful type of vegetation.

World's End: a 600 meter drop-off along the park edges. Should have been a beautiful view, were it not that we arrived to late on the day. Early mornings you could see half of Sri Lanka; afternoons, you could hardly see yourself.

But the park was beautiful, so we had a good long walk. With many encounters with the locals: on sunday, the park is a popular outing for people from Colombo and surroundings.
