Visit to a GEF project

Posing with the members of a local NGO that is promoting the production of oil from Karite nuts in a village about 50 km from Bamako. A very interesting project: households can earn some extra money by collecting the nuts of trees standing in the fields and then processing them in an oil press. A special building was erected for the purpose to give the project face. Of course, this was a women's activity.
