A quick lunch with Ndeye, programme associate

When I say we, I mean me and the GEF programe Associate. She accompanied me to Niger and Mali to help out in arrangements and to work with the UNDP country office counterparts on financial matters.
Here we're taking a quick bite between visits to 'important people' that needed a hand shook and some comforting words about the need for collaboration to ensure succes of the activities. I had a plate of huge snails with pistacio sauce. The sauce was good, but I don't know what the snails crawled through. I suggested the Agouti to Ndeye (the waterrat I ate in Ivory Coast). She didn't like it. No accounting for taste.
