This week, I was involved in a biodiversity workshop. Very interesting to see. A colleague from NY was asked to help out in getting some proposals going and the objective of the workshop was to work on the proposals with the project teams. So we jumped on problem tree analysis, LOGFRAME, and on some procedural questions. But during the workshop, my foot started hurting. And yes... the famous Paap hereditary disease reared its ugly head: gout (jicht). So now I'm taking pills, but it meant not being able to participate in some of the sessions. Bummer.
